Frequently Asked Questions

When should I arrive?

Guests should arrive no earlier than Monday 27th October at 5pm. The Bride, Groom and a few helpers will be on site to greet you and show you to your room.

Do I have to stay the full 3 days?

No, there is no expectation to stay for the full 3 days if you don’t wish to. The ceremony takes place on the 28th (Tuesday), however we felt it appropriate given the distance to arrange for guests to be able to arrive the day before the wedding (Monday), stay the night of the wedding and have a full following day and night (Wednesday) to rest before checking out and going home (Thursday). Your cost covers the full 3 night stay so you are welcome to use as much of it as you like, and we would love treat the experience as a large family holiday.

What should I wear?

You’re welcome to wear anything that is wedding appropriate and in the Autumnal colour palette, we would recommend bringing something warm if we are able to have the ceremony outdoors but please wear what you find comfortable for you for the day. If you need some inspiration, please check out the Outfit Ideas page!

Can I bring a plus one?

Unfortunately, no. This is an intimate wedding, with a very small number of our nearest and dearest loved ones. Each person is accounted for in terms of accommodation, food and fire safety. As such our numbers are set. Only guests (including pets) who are formally invited will be able to attend.

What do we eat on non-wedding days?

On days aside from the wedding, Plas Dinam Country House will function as a self catered accommodation. There is a kitchen, pantry and fridges/cold rooms big enough to accommodate us all and so guests are encouraged to bring their own food and drink for non wedding days. We are exploring ideas for a communal meal/event on the Wednesday evening, this will be communicated closer to the time.

Can I bring my pet?

Unfortunately, no. On the site there is a 3 pet maximum which has already been filled. Unless discussed otherwise you are not able to bring a pet along with you, we apologise for any inconvenience.
